Oral History
There is nothing quite like capturing history from those who lived it. We can conduct oral history interviews with you or your loved ones, remotely or in person. Interviews can stretch over several hours or several days. I have conducted over 100 oral history interviews and there is always something new to be learned from an effective oral history interview.
Historic Preservation
We can help scan and digitize your historic photographs and other artifacts for safekeeping. All scans are done in high resolution, cropped and labeled for your convenience. We offer dropoff or pickup scanning services or we can bring our scanner to you. Your precious artifacts are never sent away to be scanned.
Multimedia Production
Finally, we can bring it all together. With historical images, oral history clips, and historical context, we can add music and narration to make a really compelling family history video. We can also produce printed books, podcasts, or multi-media presentations, telling the story of your family or organization in a compelling and memorable way. Your historical keepsake can be kept private to be enjoyed by friends and family alone or posted to social media to be enjoyed by the wider world.
Historical Research
We are experts in historical research, tapping into genealogical and other databases to unearth important details about the history of your family or organization. We have access to all of the major genealogical databases, but can also dig deeper into local or national archives. We can unearth newspaper articles from a century ago or find old photographs that you did not know existed.
