Kevin M. Callahan - Author, Historian, Podcast/Documentary Film Producer (with Little & Clio)

History is my passion. I graduated from Yale University with a degree in history in 1991 and began my career writing freelance newspaper articles. To supplement my meagre earnings as a freelance writer, I began writing histories for private companies and social clubs. Eventually, that led me to earn a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia’s SIPA and an MBA from MIT Sloan. Later, I worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Co. before helping to build several private-equity and venture-backed companies. I recently took a “sabbatical” to research and write my recently published book, Brothers in Arms: Remembering Brothers Buried Side by Side in American World War II Cemeteries (https://www.amazon.com/Brothers-Arms-Remembering-American-Cemeteries/dp/0578468859). The book was awarded the Bill Fisher Award for Best First Book (nonfiction) from the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) among other book awards. Now, I’m taking my passion for history to help families and organizations turn their history into engaging and lasting content.

History can often be boring and dry. But it doesn’t have to be that way. It can be fascinating, engaging, and distinctly personal. Long before there were printed books, humans shared their history largely through telling stories. It was through stories that we made sense of the world. We can all connect through a great story, be it heroic, sad, or hilarious. I’m passionate about capturing these stories and producing them in various formats, whether print, podcast or video. In my recent work, I have assembled an incredible array of talented researchers, writers, designers, photographers, graphic artists, podcasters and video producers, who can execute a historical content project that delivers impact, whatever your objectives might be.
